What a Difference a Day Makes!

The weather turned cold on Friday--you can see all the clouds in the sky. This picture shows Gary installing foam insulation in the garage area. There has been a lot of progress this week with the PEX tubing (the red stuff you see in the photo) going down on top of the foam insulation. Rebar is going on top of the PEX tubing and Gary has to individually tie little "dobies" (not sure of the spelling, but they are little individual chunks of concrete with wire ties in them) to the rebar. The process is time consuming, but we are hoping for the inspection to be early next week so that we can make arrangements for the cement pad to be poured at the end of next week. We are looking forward to seeing a cement foundation soon!
