The Front Door Panel is Complete
Our door carver, Stacey Mitchell, sent us this picture showing the completed front door panel. We love the 3-D effect of the pine trees POPPING out of the door. We love the "Welcome" sign in the center with the pine cones on either side of it. Stacey told us he sent it off to the door shop to be installed into the actual pre-hung door. We plan to head off to Utah on the three-day weekend in February to pick it up. (February 7-9 is a holiday weekend for Lincoln's Birthday.)

Your house is lookin' sooooo good!! Wow. I am a huge fan of the log cabin/lodge style, it has so much warmth, texture, natural beauty and charm. My dream house would be along those lines! Congrats on making so much progress in building YOUR dream house. They say building a house together can be a real test of marriage - but I have a feeling it only brings you two closer together making your shared dream a reality! I love the woodwork here BTW - it is so beautifully done! Keep it up you guys. :)
