The insulation arrived about 8:00 a.m. this morning.

Insulation in the ceiling of the great room. The solar tubes really put out a lot of light!
Insulation in the ceiling of the entryway, looking toward the guest bathroom.There are just a few finishing touches that need to be done, but the insulation will be completed tomorrow! Gary has even called for the inspector to come tomorrow and "sign off" the insulation step.
Next step...tongue and groove in the ceiling of the great room, master bedroom, and entryway. Then, concrete board needs to be put up anywhere the river rock and slate will be installed. After that, drywall can go up. We also have to pour concrete outside each door for a stoop, and have asphalt installed where the road meets our driveway--a new county ordinance that we just found out about. We need to hurry and get in because the county keeps changing the rules and adding new things for us to do! However, we can see the "light at the end of the tunnel"! We just might make our August 15th deadline to move in!
