New Lighting and Bookshelves in Great Room

New Track Lighting

We finally were able to change out a few of the "cloud" lights for more attractive lighting. This is a bendable track lighting set that allows us to focus each light where we want it to shine. We can highlight the picture on the wall instead of having the "cloud" light on the ceiling shining straight down.

New Kitchen Lighting

We traded in three of the "cloud" lights for three hanging lanterns that add more ambiance to our log cabin. They are copper-colored.

Bookshelf in Great Room

Gary designed and built this bookshelf for part of our book collection.

Another Bookcase in the Great Room

We added a small bookcase in the great room, just to the right of the wood stove.

Bye-bye Cloud Lights!

This is the last "cloud" light in the great room. It is above the dining room table. We plan to change it out when we find the right "chandelier-type" light to go above the table.
