Road Base on Driveway
We had some "road base" delivered this week and Gary spent several hours spreading it out with his tractor. Last winter the driveway turned into a muddy, icy, frozen mess. We thought we'd try some preventative maintenance this year so we won't have that problem anymore. This part of the house is in the shade and faces northeast, so it is always the last place that snow and ice melts.
This gives us an idea of what it will look like once we pour concrete for a driveway.
The orange cones along the side of the driveway mark where rock columns will be erected. Gary installed electrical conduit under the driveway so that lights can be placed on top of the rock columns.
