 Gary removed the old cabinet that was under the cooktop.  When we first moved into the log cabin, we couldn't afford the cabinet we wanted.  We bought a cheap cabinet at Home Depot to use temporarily.  It's been almost two years since we moved in and we finally are able to have the roll-out drawers in the cabinets we like. 

Gary built the framework for the 10 roll-out drawers.  The four center drawers are directly below the cooktop and will be for the pots and pans.  It will be wonderful to not have to get down on my hands and knees and peer into a dark cupboard to try to find a pan and its matching lid.  


Here is a picture of the four center drawers.  There will be three more pull-out drawers on either side of the cooktop.  I love it!
