Snow Day!

First Snowfall in our Log Cabin

Sunday afternoon it started to snow and by 4:30 p.m. we had almost an inch of snow. It kept snowing on and off throughout the evening and by 7:30 p.m. we got the call from the school district that school had been canceled for Monday due to inclement weather. How ironic! We've been off for two weeks for Christmas vacation and never had any snow and the day we were supposed to return, we got a snow day!

Just last night Debi was lamenting the fact that we never did get our icicle lights hung out on the house this year in time for Christmas. We had all those days of rain, so Gary was never able to hang them up. But this morning, we got REAL icicles! This is the dormer above the guest bedroom/office that we call the "Dalmatian Dormer".
