Back to School

School started on August 14th and my sister, Evelyn, suggested that I show a picture of my second grade classroom. This is my "Math Meeting" Bulletin Board. It features the calendar, a place to record the daily temperature, a "Math Problem of the Day", a daily count, number sentences, days of the week list, months of the year list, a clock, and a place for fake coins to show a money amount. The Saxon Math program is my favorite math program! It uses a spiraling curriculum so the children are always reviewing important concepts.
