When Gary built the shop, he had a septic tank installed that would be separate from the house's septic system. He put a "dump station" on the inside of the shop and on the cement pad where we park the trailer. It makes it easy to dump the sanitaries when we come back from vacation. Now that we are living in the trailer, it is convenient to have the dump station right there. To help orient you as to the placement of our future home site, look to the left of the picture above and you will see the driveway going up to the pad. This picture is taken as you face south.
If you never got to see our old house (and I do mean "old"--built prior to 1920) here is the last photo we took before we demolished it. Gary removed the windows and doors so that we wouldn't have to deal with broken glass all over the site. We are building the new log cabin basically in the same "footprint" as the old house. Use the large pine tree in the backyard to help orient youself in pictures of the new site. This picture is taken as you face west.
